Verkehrshaus Touch Screens

The Swiss Museum of Transportation built a new hall for road transport, that opened its doors in summer 2009. It contains an automated high-bay storeroom with a robotized parking system with some 80 artefacts dated between 1860 and 2005, stacked from floor to ceiling, from horse carriages to bicycles to automobiles.

Several touch screen stations offer information about the artefacts.

Kabeljau planned, designed and programmed the software for this touchscreen installation in cooperation with the Museum of Transport and our software specialist Michael Vögeli.

Bicycling Website

Bicycling is the voice of cycling, providing the stories on the people, gear, trends, and techniques behind the sport. The web site features expert reviews of the latest equipment, award-winning narratives, and the best training and fitness tips in the business.

Women’s Health
Website

Total redesign of Rodale's Women's Health magazine Web site. WomensHealth.com is a women's lifestyle web site rooted in healthy living. Published 10 times a year by Rodale Inc., Women's Health is a fresh, smart and inspiring magazine for today's active young women.

Crosstown Jam
Website

Web site for a great little mobile game, conceived and executed by Kabeljau and Forest Games for Swiss Recycling. The Flash site has been designed and built together with our man in Buenos Aires. An example in telework.

Logos & Brands

Corporate identity system for an event- and public relations consultancy. A flexible system of three visual elements and the color blue make up the corporate design world. The web site and other applications are in the works.

Flyers & Posters

Quick and dirty (but sometimes quite beautiful) posters for a concert venue. Usually, they send me an image or a logo as basis and to set the style, the rest is mine to define.

Sony Slotcar Game

Flash game to promote Sony's release of GranTurismo 4. Players compete in a live ranking system. The game features "real drifting in corners", 10 different race tracks in unique landscapes, race cars with individual performance, a night track and more crazy stuff. Idea and concept in collaboration with Dave Broz.

Dachkantine
Identitiy

Corporate design and web design for the a rooftop lounge and club location in Zurich. Wide open space illustrations and nostalgic travel sticker style icons create a colorful setting for all sorts of creative events. Idea and design in collaboration with Anne-Catherine Wehrli.

Website

I got commissioned by Rodale Inc. to help redesign their huge web portal for active runners and marathon lovers. It was quite a design challenge to get all this information on the page in a intelligent and comprehensible way.

An unusual way to move through a web site. Everything being on the same page, visitors can slide horizontally through the content while listening to a context sensitive sound scape.

Mini Sites

Various mini sites created with Flash, to promote upcoming game titles or events by Sony PlayStation Switzerland. All designs are based on an existing visual product language, but freely interpreted to create rich interactive experiences.
